Mechanical Files: Chorolus

Envy is a dangerous and powerful weapon. It makes friends into foes and makes admirers into a danger unto themselves. Such is the fate of this mecha.

The Chorolus (pronounced Kor-rol-Us) is the conceptual relative to Zenorgun, only in name but not in purpose.
The Chorolus is powered by the CZS-Engine, a form of ZBN-Drive developed using remnant materials from the creation of the true drive. However the CZS (Counter-Zenith-System) has a functionary ability to disable the ZBN-Drive at will.

The armor look has an organic feel with no visible joint mechanics. This led to one of my early attempts at an individual concept called "Strip plating" where the body is layered by strips of metal that constricted as the body moved, providing protection as well as the look of human muscle.

Weapons were Chorolus' obsession, the most powerful to fight the powerful. The machine has an undrawn arsenal at its disposal and combined with its 'mono-eye' head structure made it the perfect sniper model. Blades were another component, as shown with the right arm's retracting cerated blade.

The backpack on this version of Chorolus is what I call the "Dominus" pack, a flight pack design with air foils with storage space for additional weapons.
