Inglorious Cannon Fodder by GeneralMechanics Inglorious Cannon Fodder by GeneralMechanics
The RGM series... in 1/144 scale HGUC.

Not the complete set of the Federation's Cannon Fodder collection, but this is all of the ones I have built so far. Start naming them!

*Disclaimer, Yes I know, the RX-78BD-1 is not a 'regular' GM, but it fits in with the rest of my "No V-Crest" club.

Model kits are property of Bandai, Built by ME!

Out of all of these Mobile suits, my all time favorite is the Jesta!! He really speaks to me as the kind of special forces suit's with the machine gun and what not. I myself have just started collecting gundam models. I can't wait for the experience!!!!!!!!! :D (Big Grin)

"One of these does not belong. Can you spot which?"

What is the Blue Destiny doing there?

I suddenly realized how much this look like one of those "You came to the wrong neighborhood" pictures and BD Being there really helps emphasize that, haha.

Thanks, but for the most part my paint work was just detailing (foot pads, thruster nozzles, eyes), but no full body work.

Still better then what I could do. For example, I got a hguc stark jegan and I couldn't paint in the yellow parts at all. Especially the part where the "V" marker is in the crouch region. Don't get me started on the vulcun guns on the head lol.

been there!!! what I've learned is work with a fine tipped brush and well mixed paint and a flat shaven tooth pick with some solvent to clean the edges...

I'll give that a shot. I remember working on my hguc gp01 full vernian back pack and I used a water bottle cap and let the gundam marker bleed in it. Then I sued a needle to color in the grey and red parts. I don't know much about the solvent though. Sorry for the late reply busy life man.

No problem. When I talk about solvents, I mean the paint's specific thinner or cleaner ala Testors Model Master Acrylics and their brand "Dried Paint Solvent"

Is the Jeddah really cannon fodder?

You mean the Jegan or the Jesta? If either, not entirely since both the Jegan ECOAS and the Jesta were special operations models compared to the mass production type suits.

I got you, but No, the Jesta model is a limited production model currently deployed to the "Tri-Stars" team aboard the Ra Cailum in UC 0096.

Like I said with this pic, I was just gathering all of the RGM-xxx series models I have in 1/144 scale together for one big group shot.
